On-loan striker Marvin Morgan has put his long-term future to one side as Dagenham & Redbridge battle to beat the drop this season.
The 28-year-old, on loan from Aldershot, has made 12 appearances for the Daggers since making the step up to League One in January.
However, with the Daggers battling to avoid relegation this season, Morgan has stressed that he is focused solely on helping the club maintain their third-tier status for another year.
"I can't really focus on what is going to happen in the summer when we still have two games to go and important points at stake because we've still got a long way to go before we are safe from relegation," Morgan told skysports.com.
"I don't expect to hear anything on that front till our League One status is confirmed, which could be right down to the last day because it is so tight this year.
"My contract back at Aldershot is up in the summer and I have spoken to my agent about it a few times, but it is important to focus on Dagenham rather than myself at the moment.
"I can't start talking about the summer when there is still so much to play for this season."
