Striker Daniel Nardiello has been offered a new contract by Exeter after a satisfactory season for the club.

The former Blackpool and Barnsley frontman scored 13 goals in 38 appearances this season, helping the Grecians finish within a point of the League One play-offs. Although a deal has not yet been signed, Nardiello has hinted that it is only a matter of time before he puts pen to paper. He told the Devon Express & Echo: "I spoke to the manager at the beginning of last week and he offered me a new deal, which is great. "There might be a few more negotiations going on with the club - little bits and pieces - and a decision should be made in the next couple of weeks. "Nothing is set in stone, but I have had a good time this season. I loved it down here and my fiancee liked it when she came to visit."
