Tis talks up young Grecians

Boss Paul Tisdale hailed his team after Exeter extended their unbeaten League One run to five games with a draw at Yeovil.

The Grecians were without Daniel Nardiello, Matt Oakley and Guillem Bauza for the clash, and gave youngsters Elliott Frear and Jimmy Keohane a taste of the action during the meeting at Huish Park. Tisdale was delighted by the way his youthful team stood up to the Glovers, and urged his side to reproduce the same standard of performance when they face Walsall in an FA Cup first-round replay on Wednesday. "We've been unbeaten for over a month and we didn't have many fully-fledged senior players available," the boss told the Western Morning News. "We're not at our most healthy, but we'll just have to cope on Wednesday and the players will have to go out and do the business again. "We had young boys coming onto the pitch. I'm not adding experience there, I'm adding young boys - and all the help they can get from the fans is a benefit to them."
