Double injury blow for Rovers

Image: Akins: Out injured

Tranmere's League One defeat to MK Dons on Saturday has been made worse by injuries to Lucas Akins and Enoch Showunmi.

Akins was withdrawn at half-time of the 2-0 reverse with a heel problem and was replaced by Adam McGurk, while Showunmi came off midway through the second period with a knock on his leg. "Lucas coming off injured hasn't helped," manager Les Parry told the club's official website. "He's not too sure if he got a kick on his heel or landed awkwardly on it, but he's on sticks at the moment so it's not looking good. "Enoch was limping a bit in the game. We need to have a little look at that."
