Sheffield United midfielder Dave McAllister has decided to extend his loan stay at Shrewsbury until the end of March.

McAllister has made four league starts since arriving from the Blades last month and will now be available for what promises to be a hectic period for Shrews, which could define their promotion charge. Bristol Rovers are the visitors to the Greenhous Meadow on Tuesday before three further matches in February, two of which come against promotion rivals Swindon and Crawley. Graham Turner's side then face a massive eight games in March, including the rearranged home fixture against Port Vale and the visit of current league leaders Cheltenham.
