Tranmere boss Ronnie Moore believes skipper James Wallace is the best in the league after he spearheaded a 3-2 comeback win against Yeovil.

The former Everton man started Tranmere's recovery before further goals from Jake Cassidy and Danny Holmes sealed the win after Paddy Madden and Sam Foley had earlier put Yeovil ahead. "I thought James was fantastic," said Moore. "He was streets ahead of everybody with his passing and his movement. He sees the pass all the time. He obviously scored the goal that got us back into the game and don't forget, he's only 20. "He's one hell of a player and at this level, I don't think there's many better midfield players." He added: "We showed a lot of character to come from two goals down, but we were awful in the first half with the goals we gave away. "We weren't at the races all day, but we showed a bit of courage, determination and togetherness and scored at the right time - just before half time. I felt that once we got in at 2-1, it was a game we could go and win."
