Alexander: The goals will come

Crawley Town skipper Gary Alexander is confident the League One outfit's strikers can end their goal drought soon.

Not a single Reds frontman has found the net since Alexander scored twice against Preston in mid-September - eight matches ago. Once again it was left to the midfielders to score the goals on Saturday with Nicky Adams and Hope Akpan on target in the 3-2 win over Bury. But Alexander told the club's official website: "At the moment they are not going in for us - on another day I could have had a couple - but we've scored another three coming from other places which is great. "If we keep creating, we will get one. We're big enough to accept we missed a few, but hopefully we can get one and they all start to fly in."
