Injury misery for Mozika

Scunthorpe midfielder Damien Mozika is set for a month on the sidelines with a tear in his hamstring injury.

The former Bury midfielder had to come off at half-time in the clash with Shrewsbury last weekend and subsequent scans have revealed a tear in his hamstring. "It's a real disappointment for us because he's an important player for us and he's shown that," manager Brian Laws told the club's official website. "He was getting back to fitness as well, which was really pleasing, and he was making a real good partnership with Michael Collins in midfield. "Certainly Mozika's injury has hit us really hard." Mozika had made 12 appearances for the Iron this season, scoring once, before injury struck.
