Moore wants revenge on Robins

Tranmere boss Ronnie Moore is looking to set the record straight when promotion rivals Swindon visit Prenton Park.

Rovers were thrashed 5-0 by Paolo Di Canio's team in the reverse fixture at the County Ground just before Christmas, finding themselves 4-0 down after just 33 minutes. "It was embarrassing for me and it had to be embarrassing for the players," Moore told the club's official website. "It's not nice when you get beat 5-0, and it could have been eight or nine. "I want to say to Di Canio that this is us, this is what we're all about. Not what he saw three or four weeks ago. "This is the type of team we are and the way we play. We want to win, but it's going to be a tough old game. They're in fantastic form and they've got a fantastic manager and brilliant players. "It's a massive game for our players to show them what we can do, especially on our own patch." Long-time leaders Tranmere still head the League One standings on goal difference ahead of Doncaster, while Swindon are third in the table, seven points behind Rovers but with two games in hand.
