Jabo Ibehre scooped Colchester's Player of the Year award at the club's end-of-season dinner on Tuesday night.

The striker netted four goals in 15 games during a three-month loan spell over the first half of the campaign, securing him a permanent move from MK Dons in January. He went on to hit the net another four times and top the club's scoring chart as the U's narrowly avoided relegation from League One. Ibehre walked away with the gong ahead of goalkeeper Sam Walker and defender Magnus Okuonghae. Winger Gavin Massey claimed the Players' Player of the Year accolade while Drey Wright was named Young Player of the Year.
