The Molineux outfit currently sit second in the table on goal difference as Kenny Jackett plots a return to the Championship at the first time of asking.
Veteran Crystal Palace striker Kevin Phillips has been linked with Wolves and Moxey - while not mentioning names - admits the board will try to help Jackett as much as they can.
"We won't be drawn on individuals but what we are going to say is that we will try and strengthen the team if we can because we think it needs it," Moxey told the Birmingham Mail.
He believes both Jackett and the players are coping well with the expectation at a club which was in the Premier League just two seasons ago.
"I think our guys, led by Kenny, are coping with the expectation quite well," he said.
"And I think the fans are pretty realistic about what the task ahead is for us. I don't feel the same weight of expectation that we have felt in previous years.
"And I think that's because the fans, who have been magnificent so far this season, recognise what Kenny is trying to do and what team we've got. It needs support and the fans have been fantastic and have given that support. I'm not surprised by that because we know how loyal our fans are.
"Certainly we would like to see a lot more fans back at Molineux and when we get into the New Year we're going to have to do more to encourage fans to come."
