Rotherham boss Steve Evans hopes to look back on the 2-2 draw with Crawley at the end of the season as a vital point gained.
The Millers needed a Kieran Agard leveller in the fifth minute of injury time on Saturday to avoid a potentially damaging defeat in their quest for a League One play-off place. It extended their unbeaten run to three, but means they have won just two of their last 10 league games at New York. However, the result was much easier for Evans to take knowing his side had been below their best. "When you score in the 95th minute it always feels like a point gained rather than anything else and it might be a vital point at the end of the season," said Evans. "That point keeps us in the play-offs. People think we have got a god given right to win games in League One. "We have to recognise how tough it is to win at the New York Stadium. I know what it means for Crawley's players to come here and play. "But it's easier to take not winning at home when we haven't played well which was the case rather than having to go home without the win when we have played teams off the park."
