There were several memorable goals scored in the EFL on Saturday, but which was the best?

There were efforts from outside the box from Peterborough's Marcus Maddison, Colchester's Drey Wright and Scunthorpe's Duane Holmes.

Matt Taylor, meanwhile, curled in a fine free-kick in Northampton's 4-0 victory over Southend.

The Cobblers, who were beaten by Manchester United in the EFL Cup in midweek, returned to winning ways thanks to goals from Taylor, John-Joe O'Toole, Alex Revell and Paul Anderson.

Elsewhere, Notts County's Aaron Collins scored a superb solo effort, racing clear from halfway and then coolly finishing over the keeper to round off the scoring in a 3-1 victory over Leyton Orient.

Also featuring in our pick of the goals from Saturday are Morecambe's Cole Stockton and Portsmouth's Gary Roberts.
