Scunthorpe United captain Andy Crosby has not fractured his cheekbone.Scunthorpe United captain Andy Crosby has been boosted by news that he has not fractured his cheekbone.
There were fears that the former Brighton & Hove Albion and Oxford United defender may be sidelined for the club's end-of-season run-in.
A first half clash in their Easter Monday defeat at local rivals Lincoln City forced Crosby to come off at half time, with the player having suffered concussion in the clash.
Despite initial fears, Crosby has only suffered a broken nose, which should not rule him out for next Saturday's big home clash with promotion rivals Macclesfield Town.
