The 25-year-old missed the start of the League One season after undergoing ankle surgery in the summer.
His absence was crucial and it is no coincidence the team's form has improved following his return to Brian Laws' side.
Mozika found the back of the net in their 2-2 draw with Notts County while he also scored in last Saturday's win over Leyton Orient.
The former Bury and Chester man is out of contract at the end of the season, although the Iron have another year's option.
However, with Scunthorpe recording a near-£2million operating loss to June 30 the club may opt to sell during the January transfer window.
"All Damien is interested in is helping Scunthorpe climb up the table," said his France-based agent.
"Damien is a very good player, that's why Scunthorpe bought him 18 months ago.
"He is under contract until the end of the season and keeping them in the division is his focus."
