Sky Bet EFL announces full fixture list for 2018/19 season
Thursday 21 June 2018 09:00, UK
Bristol City will host big-spending Nottingham Forest on the opening day of the new Sky Bet Championship season.
The Robins will welcome Aitor Karanka's side to Ashton Gate on August 4, with Forest having broken their transfer record this week to bring in Portugal midfielder Joao Carvalho for £13m - who should be in line to make his debut.
A long trip to Bolton follows for Lee Johnson's side, who then host Middlesbrough and visit QPR in their following two matches.
Brentford visit Ashton Gate on Boxing Day and the Robins face Stoke City at the Bet365 Stadium on New Year's Day. The Robins end their campaign against Hull City on Sunday, May 5 - the same side who beat them in the Championship play-off final a decade ago.
