The Robins manager has decided that former Bristol City midfielder Ben Cleverley, former Celtic trainee Graham Fyfe and former Team Bath player Bertrand Cozic have done enough to earn deals with the Third Division club.
The trio are all considering their offers with the club and should all three agree terms with Cheltenham, it may mean that Gould will have to rule out a move for veteran striker Bob Taylor, with the club's budget at its limit.
Gould was pleased with what he has seen from all three of his preferred trialists this summer.
"Ben Cleverley has had a super pre-season and I think there is a lot more to come from Graham Fyfe as well," Gould told the club's official website.
"He has not necessarily shown his best yet but he has plenty to offer us.
"Bertrand Cozic has been offered a short-term contract because we want to compare him with what we already have in-house.
"His contract can be taken further if he can substantiate what he has already shown in pre-season."
The decision means that the former Bristol City duo of striker Peter Beadle and goalkeeper Dean Lindsay will not be offered terms by the Whaddon Road outfit.
Gould, however, will look to find a club for youngster Lindsay, in which he can continue to monitor his progress.
