Reports from Australia had suggest that the custodian, who plays for Australian club Stirling Lions, was trying his luck with the Ashton Gate outfit.
However, the former Barnsley and Sheffield Wednesday manager has denied having any Australian custodian currently training at the club.
"It's not true. I haven't got an Australian goalkeeper on trial," Wilson told skysports.com.
Meanwhile, striker Lee Matthews has returned to the club to receive treatment on his injured ankle.
The former Leeds United hit-man had been on loan at cross-town rivals Bristol Rovers before picking up the ankle ligament problem.
The injury threatens to end Matthews's loan spell with The Pirates, who have expressed a desire to sign the striker on a permanent deal.
In other news, defender Darren Jones is in discussions with Conference club Forest Green Rovers over a permanent switch to The Lawn.
Jones is nearing the end of a three-month loan spell with the Gloucestershire-based outfit and is available to leave on a free transfer.
