Bristol City continued their fine recent run with a thumping 4-0 win over high-flying Tranmere Rovers.
The victory takes Brian Tinnion's men up into seventh spot, and means that they have now won five and drawn three of their last eight league games.
Two goals each from Stephen Brooker and Luke Wilkshire condemned Tranmere to a heavy defeat which sees them drop from second to third on goal difference.
Brooker opened the scoring on 19 minutes, and Wilshire then doubled the advantage four minutes before the break.
Brooker's second on 57 minutes ended the game as a contest, and Wilkshire put a gloss on the scoreline in the final minute when he converted a penalty.
Blackpool clinched their first home win of the season after coming from behind to beat Wrexham 2-1.
Andy Holt edged the Welshmen ahead on 23 minutes, but Colin Hendry's side came out firing after the interval and restored parity moments into the second half through Peter Clarke.
The prolific Scott Taylor then secured the points 20 minutes later when he dispatched a spot-kick.
