Yeovil Town have signed Kevin Amankwaah from Bristol City.League Two leaders Yeovil Town have bolstered their squad with the signing of Kevin Amankwaah.
The 22-year-old defender arrives from Bristol City, where he has seen his first team chances become limited this term.
Robins boss Brian Tinnion was keen for the youngster to see some first team action and The Glovers readily agreed to take him on loan for the next month.
"I've been at City for five years, though I've been on the fringes for three years. I need some first team football," said Amankwaah.
"The move is good for me because I don't have to move away from Bristol and Yeovil play good football like City.
"I do want to stay at City and if they offered me a new contract, I would definitely sign."
One player that has arrived back at Ashton is centre back Craig Ireland, who returns to complete his initial one-month loan with the club.
The Peterborough United defender solved some family issues before returning to the West Country this week, with Tinnion hoping to extend his loan for another four weeks.

Tinnion has handed right back Jamie Smith the captain's armband after deciding that midfield battler Tommy Doherty needs to concentrate more on his performances in the first team.
