Bristol City striker Leroy Lita has been handed a two-match ban by The FA.Bristol City's remote hopes of reaching the play-offs have dealt a blow after striker Leroy Lita was handed a two-match ban.
The FA also fined Lita £250 after the goalscorer was charged with using foul and abusive language at a match official during last week's goalless draw at West Country rivals Swindon Town.
The former Ashton Gate trainee is due to miss Saturday's trip to face former boss Danny Wilson at Milton Keynes Dons and the club's final home match of the season against Doncaster Rovers.
The 20-year-old would be available for the final match of the season at Sheffield Wednesday, but The Robins have lodged an appeal against the charge.
"We are very disappointed by the decision," Robins player-manager Brian Tinnion told the club's official website.
Tinnion, meanwhile, has revealed his intention to add an experienced coach to his backroom staff for next season.
"I'm still looking around for the right person and it will be my decision whether or not we bring anyone in," he added.
"I would like an experienced coach or someone who has been a manager, but is not intent on returning to the role.
"By the summer, there could well be an addition to the staff. But it will have to be right and I am not going to bring someone in for the sake of it."
