Port Vale have tied up the signing of Peterborough midfielder Danny Sonner.Port Vale have tied up the permanent signing of Peterborough United midfielder Danny Sonner.
The Northern Ireland international spent the closing months of the season on loan at Vale and has now reached an accord for a permanent deal.
The Posh have agreed to release the 33-year-old, who only moved to London Road last summer, after they were relegated to League Two.
Sonner has now signed for Vale and could be joined at the club next week by fellow loanee Tony Dinning.
The experienced midfielder linked up with Vale in March after failing to settle with Bristol City.
The Robins have circulated Dinning's name to other clubs and he is likely to sign for Vale some time next week.
Meanwhile, Christian Hanson, who was not offered a long-term deal by Vale boss Martin Foyle, is expected to spend pre-season with Bury.
Hanson made five appearances for the Potteries club after joining in December but failed to earn a permanent contract and the defender will now try his luck with Bury.
