Bristol City have fined David Partridge, Scott Brown and Bradley Orr.Bristol City have fined defender David Partridge and the midfield pair of Scott Brown and Bradley Orr for breaching club discipline.
The trio were fined two weeks' wages and given a final warning at to their future conduct after they were arrested following an incident in a Bristol nightclub in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
The players were released on bail pending further police inquiries, but The Robins felt they had enough evidence to fine the trio and leave them out of the squad for Saturday's match against Tranmere Rovers.
Ashton Gate boss Gary Johnson was less than amused by the actions of Brown, Orr and Partridge.
"I will deal with any breach of club discipline with a heavy hand, as any lack of professionalism has to be addressed," Johnson told the club's official website.
"Heavy fines have been imposed as a result of the incident this week and I have left all the players in no doubt that there must be no repeat.
"It has obviously had a major effect on the preparation of the three players concerned for the Tranmere game and I don't consider them to be in the right frame of mind to be considered for selection."
