Boston United manager Steve Evans is making moves in the loan market this week.Boston United manager Steve Evans has confirmed that he will be making moves in the loan market this week.
With Thursday's Football League loan deadline looming, Evans has agreed to sign Lincoln City striker Francis Green on loan.
He has also allowed Pilgrims midfielder David Noble to join League One strugglers Bristol City on loan - with a view to making the deal a permanent arrangement in January transfer window.
Evans admitted his interest in Green earlier this month, as he was keen to boost his attacking options at York Street.
Former Arsenal and West Ham United man Noble (pictured) looks set to continue his career in the West Country with The Robins, as manager Gary Johnson tries to halt City's horrible run of seven straight defeats in all competitions by adding new faces.
Evans says he will be bringing in players before Thursday's deadline, but declared that striker Julian Joachim and midfielder Stewart Talbot are going nowhere.
"We have a number of options that we are working on at present and I can also confirm that contrary to reports elsewhere, Julian Joachim and Stewart Talbot will not be moving, as they are an integral part of my plans and I reiterated this to the chairman (Jon Sotnick) and director of football (Jim Rodwell) earlier this week," Evans told Boston's official website.
