Bristol Rovers qualified for the final of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
Bristol Rovers qualified for the final of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy with a 1-0 win over local rivals Bristol City.
The two sides played out a 0-0 draw in the first leg at Ashton Gate and this ensured Rickie Lambert's goal on 65 minutes proved decisive.
Rovers took the game to their neighbours from the off and their persistence paid off as Lambert netted the winner.
City failed to clear their lines after a ball was lofted into the box and Lambert rammed home from 12 yards to book a meeting with Doncaster at The Millennium Stadium
