Bristol City midfielder Scott Murray has agreed a new one-year contract with the club.
Bristol City midfielder Scott Murray has agreed a new one-year deal with the club.
City, who clinched promotion to The Championship last season, acted to secure Murray despite the winger missing the last two months of the campaign with a broken foot.
Robins chairman Steve Lansdown had promised the 33-year-old new terms at the end of the season and, with the deal finally secured, Murray is now looking to put his injury problems behind him.
Murray, who has netted 28 times in his three years at Ashton Gate, told the club's official website: "I saw the doctor before signing my new contract and the foot is fine now.
"I am absolutely delighted with the new deal, as halfway through last season I was worried I could be heading into non-league football for 2007/08.
"Luckily enough, I hit form in the middle part of the season before my injury, and it is great to be here for at least another season."
