Nottingham Forest have signed Bolton striker Zach Clough on a four-and-a-half-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

The 21-year-old has made 29 appearances for Bolton this season after they managed to keep hold of him in the summer following relegation to League One.

Clough, who came through the youth ranks at Bolton, scored 21 times in 59 league appearances for The Trotters, including nine times this season in Sky Bet League One.

The diminutive forward can play in a variety of attacking roles both out wide and through the middle.

Forest had been working to conclude deals for Chesterfield's Gboly Ariyibi and Ipswich Town captain Luke Chambers - their former player.
