Belgian international Oyen will be a free agent in the summer, and is looking to secure a move to England after falling out of the first-team picture in Brussels.
The 27-year-old has recently returned from a lengthy spell out injured, but has been playing mainly in Anderlecht's reserves.
Forest boss Paul Hart will cast an eye over Oyen this week before deciding whether to offer him a permanent deal.
Oyen joins Twente's Dutch Under-21 international Ibad Muhamadu at the City Ground, along with two youngsters from Le Championnat.
Marseille's 21-year-old midfielder Gavanon and Lyon's 19-year-old striker Julien Viale will also have the chance to impress Hart, who is having a good luck at his potential new signings.
"We've had a chance to have agood look at the players and we are continuing to keep a chack on them," said Hart.
"We will have to wait and see if anything develops from their trial spells with us."
