Johnson blasts Forest board

After last season's performance, which saw Paul Hart's side narrowly miss out on promotion, it was thought that Forest would have been one of the favourites to challenge for the top flight this term.
But a lack of investment during the off season has left Hart with a threadbare squad and Johnson feels that last season's good work will be wasted if players are not brought in to strengthen the squad.
He said: "We are acting like a team in administration and it is absolutely shambolic that we haven't brought in any players.
"All the teams that finished in the play-offs have brought in new players but we've not made a single cash signing which is sickening.
"Everybody around the club is talking about promotion but we haven't got a chance. Our squad is so small that we could turn up to our games in a mini-bus.
"The chairman is saying we're ready for The Premiership but I just wonder what Premiership he is on about."
Forest opened the season with a 2-0 victory over Sunderland but could not emulate that feat at the weekend, and went down 3-0 to Reading at The Madejski Stadium.
But the 27-year-old was quick to point out that he does not blame Hart for the club's current plight.
"It is not the manager's fault and he cannot do any more," he added. "We've got 13 fit players and five of them are defenders.
"If I get an injury we've got one striker to take my place. There is only myself and Marlon Harewood here as senior strikers and we are both expected to play 46 games and score 50 goals between us again.
"We need to bring in some new players. We had Michael Dawson - a central defender - on the bench as striking cover.
"It's an absolute joke and the only thing going for us is that the few players we do have are actually quite good."
