Lester back for Forest

Nottingham Forest's Jack Lester has made his long awaited return.

Nottingham Forest have been boosted by the news that Jack Lester has made his long awaited return.

The striker played his first game since December as Forest were beaten by Odense.

Lester played for 20 minutes of the 1-0 defeat in Denmark, and his return was greeted with cheers from the travelling Forest fans.

The 29-year-old suffered ligament damage in the match against Derby last season, but will be keen to aid his club's attempts to jump straight back into The Championship.

Forest open their season with the visit of Huddersfield on August 6.
