Forest enter Tyson chase

Nottingham Forest have made a bid for highly-rated Wycombe striker Nathan Tyson.

Nottingham Forest have made a bid for highly-rated Wycombe Wanderers striker Nathan Tyson.

The 23-year-old is presently one of the most coveted players in the lower leagues and has attracted the attention of a number of clubs.

Birmingham City manager Steve Bruce is known to be an admirer of Tyson, while Sheffield Wednesday recently saw a £700,000 offer rebuffed.

Forest manager Gary Megson is currently restructuring his City Ground squad and is understood to have made a 'substantial offer' for the Wycombe marksman.

Cardiff City and Wigan Athletic have also expressed an interest in Tyson, and it would appear that The Chairboys are prepared to bide their time until the right offer comes along.
