Nottm Forest were held at home by Weymouth in the FA Cup first round.Nottingham Forest were forced into an FA Cup first round replay after being held to a 1-1 draw at home by Nationwide South side Weymouth.
The Nationwide North also has a representative in the hat for the second round after Harrogate Town earned a superb 1-1 draw at Torquay United.
Struggling Forest took the lead at The City Ground when Gary Holt put the League One side ahead after 39 minutes.
However, the visitors put in a spirited performance and Andy Harris sent the travelling fans wild with his 56th-minute leveller, forcing Gary Megson's side into a replay as The Wessex Stadium.
Harrogate Town made the 320-mile trip down to Devon to face Torquay United, and took the lead against the League Two side with Danny Holland's strike after 20 minutes.
Town were holding on until ten minutes from time when debutant Ian Stonebridge bagged the leveller to force another replay.
Conference side Burton Albion also earned a good replay after travelling to League Two side Peterborough and holding them to a goalless draw at London Road.
League Two side Mansfield came out on top in a seven-goal thriller against League One opponents Rotherham at Millmoor.
Paul McLaren cancelled out both Simon Brown and Giles Coke's efforts as The Millers twice came from behind, before Deon Burton put them 3-2 ahead.
However, former Rotherham man Richie Barker popped up to level the game 15 minutes from time before scoring the winner in the final minute, when Gus Uhlenbeek Mansfield Michael Keane Rother were both sent off for fighting.
Shrewsbury were comfortable 4-1 winners over Ryman League Premier side Braintree Town at Gay Meadow, thanks to goals from Colin McMenamin, Jamie Tolley, Richard Hope and David Edwards, with Bradley Quinton notching a late consolation for the visitors.
Macclesfield and Yeovil will have to do it all again after a 1-1 draw at Moss Road, with Clive Wijnhard's opener later cancelled out by a late Phil Jevons strike for The Glovers to take the tie back down to Somerset.
A Paul Brayson hat-trick saw Conference North side Northwich Victoria into the hat for the second round draw with a 3-1 win at Morecambe, who grabbed a late goal back through Danny Carlton.
Nuneaton went 2-0 up against Ramsgate thanks to goals from Robert Oddy and David Staff, although their day was soured somewhat with Michael Frew's late dismissal.
Northampton earned their place in round two with a 3-1 win at Wycombe thanks to goals from Chris Doig, Martin Smith and Scott McGleish - with Joe Burnell's grabbing one back late on.
Jermaine Easter and Keith Briggs both scored for Stockport in their 2-0 home win over Swansea, Kevin O'Connor's penalty was enough for Brentford to see-off Rochdale.
Charlie Comyn-Platt was the hero for Swindon as his late strike earned the Robins a replay with a 2-2 draw at home against Boston.
Andy Gurney had earlier cancelled out Simon Rusk's early effort, before Stewart Talbot put Boston ahead, where they were just three minutes away from the next round.
Grays Athletic won the all-Conference affair at York with an Andy Bishop own goal, Jamie Slabber strike and Glenn Poole effort handing them a 3-0 win.
Southport and Woking will have to meet again for a place in the second round after Kevin Leadbetter equalised for the hosts at Haig Avenue following Stephen Evans' opener.
