Pair head to Darlington

James Beaumont and Taiwo Atieno have both moved to Darlington on loan.

Nottingham Forest have released midfielder James Beaumont to Darlington on a month's loan.

The 21-year-old joined Forest from Newcastle in the summer of 2003, but has failed to secure a regular first team spot.

Joining Beaumont in the Darlington squad will be Walsall striker Taiwo Atieno, who also joins The Quakers on loan for a month.

The 20-year-old has been on the fringes of the Walsall team this year, and spent a successful loan spell at Kidderminster where he scored five goals in 13 league appearances.

Meanwhile, Darlington have released goalkeeper Bertrand Bossu, after he reached an agreement with the Quakers manager David Hodgson.

The former Gillingham custodian sustained an injury at the end of last year, and has been out of action ever since.
