Colin Calderwood has hinted Paul Smith will be Nottingham Forest's sole summer signing.
Smith signed a three-year contract at The City Ground on Tuesday and is likely to be become Forest's first-choice keeper after his arrival from Southampton.
But he is not expected to be joined by any other new faces, with Calderwood currently happy with the make-up of his squad.
When asked if Smith's capture would be the first of many, Calderwood told Sky Sports News: "No, I don't think so.
"What we've got in the squad already I'm very, very happy with what's there.
"We have just started games on the training ground and next week we've got three or four games.
"Through that period we will be able to determine if we need anything else.
"Looking at the boys so far, we've got a real good mixture - experience, youth, we've got good pace and good areas in the team."
After missing out on promotion from League One last season, the target at The City Ground is claiming a place in The Championship.
The new Forest boss has no qualms with the expectations at the club and believes confidence is high for a promotion push.
He added: "We can make heroes out of this team if we win promotion this year and that's what we're trying to do.
"I think we've got to be confident. The group is confident and in the dressing room, with the way it ended last year, there has been an overflow of confidence.
"We are looking forward to starting this year from that."
