Birmingham boss intends to hang on to his winger

Lee Clark has rubbished suggestions that Chris Burke will be leaving Birmingham City before the start of the season. The Scottish winger was named as the player of the season by the rest of the City squad last season after an impressive campaign. His eye-catching displays also caught the eye of a number of other managers around the country including Norwich boss Chris Hughton who is rumoured to want to lure him away from the Championship. But Clark has denied there has been any interest from the Premier League side or anywhere else in his prized winger. "I've had no indication, nothing at all, about Chris," said Clark. "He is very, very happy here. He enjoys the training, he enjoys his football and it's not an issue."
