Paul Scharner says he is determined to make his mark at Hamburg when he returns to the Bundesliga club this summer.

Another player hoping to make an impact at Hamburg is Michael Mancienne - who has been injured for the last two-months. Mancienne is now competing for a first-team place with the likes of Jeffrey Bruma and Slobodan Rajkovic - both of whom are former Chelsea team-mates. Mancienne said: "Basically I am feeling great. I have started to work on my fitness in recent weeks and I feel I am back on top of my fitness at this point in time. I am out to fight for regular action. I want to be in the first-team again."
