Attacking midfielder Bressan is a free agent after leaving Russian side Alania Vladikavkaz earlier this year.
Bressan was regarded as one of the best young prospects in Europe after impressing in the UEFA Champions League with BATE Borisov.
The 25-year-old was named Belarussian player of the year in 2010 and was linked with a host of top clubs across Europe.
The Brazilian-born playmaker has Belarussian citizenship and is a key member of the Belarus national team after making his debut in 2012.
English sides have been tracking Bressan for some time, with former Fulham boss Martin Jol believed to have shown an interest in acquiring his services during his time in charge at Craven Cottage.
News of his availability on a free transfer has alerted several English clubs with the likes of Brighton, Nottingham Forest and Wigan all thought to be weighing up moves for Bressan.
