The Seasiders were on the wrong end of a 4-0 thrashing by bottom side Mansfield at Field Mill and that has left the former Liverpool midfielder questioning the attitude of his players.
"Everyone has these difficult stages and that sorts the men out from the boys, those that really want to play football and those that want to be professional footballers," McMahon told the club website.
Danny Coid, Richie Wellens, Martin Bullock and John Hills are all out of contract in the summer and McMahon feels he must know how committed they are to the Blackpool cause.
"We have four players whose contracts are up at the end of the season, do they want to be at this football club? These are the sort of questions I need to ask. I don't know," confessed McMahon.
"Are they thinking they can go out and play for Liverpool? I will tell you they won't regardless of speculation. Let me tell you they won't, I will tell you that now.
"There is not one of them that will play in The Premier League. That's for sure, so I don't know where they are coming from. They will be lucky to get another club."
Blackpool have fallen out of the play-off picture of late and are now 11th in the Division Two standings.
