The former Liverpool ace was not in the best of moods when asked about the latest contract news at the club, after seeing The Seasiders drop to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of struggling Barnsley on Tuesday evening.
McMahon has been left frustrated by negotiations with defender John Hills, who rejected the club's initial contract offer, despite stating his desire to continue playing with his hometown club.
With Danny Coid, Richie Wellens and Martin Bullock all in talks as well over possible contract extensions, the process seems to have left McMahon feeling foul.
"I am sick to death of talking about contracts, I wish you would leave me alone on the contracts, I have had a gutful of contracts I really have, and if they don't want to play, I am not interested anymore," McMahon told the club's official website.
"The door is always open for the players to see me, I want to put an end to contracts, if they want to start on that at the end of the season, that's fine, contracts are dead and buried as far as I am concerned."
