Blackpool midfielder Danny Coid is out for up to three months with a broken ankle.Blackpool have lost the services of midfielder Danny Coid for up to three months with a broken ankle.
The 24-year-old will have surgery on Friday to repair the damage to the lower joint in his right leg after sustaining the break in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Tranmere Rovers.
With Coid out for up to 12 weeks, Seasiders caretaker manager Simon Grayson may look to extend Danny Warrender's loan for a final month from Manchester City.
The news comes as the League One strugglers confirmed this week that they had been approached by three different parties regarding a takeover of the Bloomfield Road club.
Chairman Karl Oyston is currently looking into the details of the bids before making a decision on the three offers.
Meanwhile, Seasiders youngster Sean Paterson has joined Conference North club Leigh RMI on a 'work experience' loan.
