Blackpool have further strengthened their squad ahead of the upcoming Championship campaign by signing experienced striker Ishmael Miller on a free transfer.
The 27-year-old was released by Nottingham Forest this summer but could make a quick return to the City Ground as part of Jose Riga's squad this weekend after putting pen to paper on a one-year deal, with the option of another 12 months added on.
The former Manchester City trainee has also represented West Brom, QPR, Middlesbrough and Yeovil - scoring 10 goals in 19 league games when on loan with the Glovers in this division last term.
"It's taken a little bit longer than we all expected and wanted, but it's done now and I can't wait, I'm raring to go," Miller told Blackpool's official website.
"I've heard a lot about the club and we've spoken in the past about me coming here. I spoke to the manager and he assured me he was going to do things the right way, he was an integral part of me signing here."
