The Australian defender is still awaiting his Glovers debut after joining on a free transfer from Chester City in the summer.
Guyett required an operation to repair cartilage damage in his knee in early August but had been closing on his first team bow.
He featured for the reserves against Bristol City in midweek, only to suffer an injury to his other knee.
The League Two outfit feared the 28-year-old may have faced a significant spell on the sidelines but they are relieved that is no longer the case.
"He went in for a tackle which jarred his other knee," Yeovil manager Gary Johnson told the club's official website.
"Thankfully, though, every day it is getting easier and it looks like he has only strained the muscle that is around his knee.
"Each day that has gone by he has felt more comfortable and we are very hopeful he won't be out for too long this time."
