Exeter City have made Polish goalkeeper Artur Krysiak their first signing of the summer.
The 20-year-old shot-stopper was released by Birmingham City on Thursday, but has not had to wait long to find another club.
Grecians boss Paul Tisdale swooped for the former Poland U19 international upon hearing that he had become available, believing Krysiak has plenty of potential.
The youngster will now provide competition for first-choice keeper Paul Jones and veteran Andy Marriott in the battle for the No.1 spot.
"The idea was to sign a promising keeper, and we have got one," said Tisdale.
"Artur will be a very good addition to our squad. We are looking forward to working with him.
"Paul Jones is in possession of the goalkeeper shirt and it is Artur's job to come in and challenge for it."
Krysiak failed to make a senior appearance during his time at Birmingham, with all of his first-team experience to date taken from loan spells at Gretna, York City, Swansea City, Motherwell and Burton Albion, who had made the keeper an offer.
