Oldham have completed a double swoop for defender Peter Clarke and midfielder Ollie Banks.
Clarke, 34, has signed a one-year deal with the Sky Bet League One side after joining from Bury, while 23-year-old Banks has agreed a two-year contract following his release by Chesterfield.
Former Everton, Huddersfield and Blackpool centre-back Clarke made 48 appearances for the Shakers during his one season at Gigg Lane and was named the club's player of the year.
Banks, who began his career with Rotherham, scored nine goals in 81 league appearances during his three seasons with the Spireites.
Latics boss Steve Robinson has now made 12 summer signings since replacing John Sheridan earlier this month.
