Swansea City are interested in signing Tottenham's Belgium international Nacer Chadli, Sky sources understand.

Chadli, 26, started the season as a mainstay in the Tottenham line-up but found his chances limited later in the season after the success of the Deli Alli and Erik Lamela partnership.

Tottenham bought Chadli for £7m from FC Twente in July 2013 and made 41 first-team appearances for the side last season.

His most recent start, however, was on March 17 and came in the 2-1 defeat to Borussia Dortmund at White Hart Lane in the Europa League knockout stages.

Sky sources understand Swansea are also interested in signing Sevilla striker Fernando Llorente as they bid to compensate for several squad departures in the summer transfer window.

Bafetimbi Gomis has left the club to join Marseille on loan, while a further seven players have also departed the Liberty Stadium on temporary deals.

Kyle Bartley and Matt Grimes have both joined Leeds while Ryan Hedges and Liam Shephard will spend the forthcoming campaign at Yeovil.
