Burnley are in talks with Swansea over the transfer of Jack Cork, according to Sky sources.

Cork is the latest target for Sean Dyche in the wake of completed deals for Charlie Taylor and Jonathan Walters and a bid for Nottingham Forest's Britt Assombalonga.

The fee for the midfielder could be worth as much as £10m to Swansea, who are demanding in the region of £50m for Everton target Gylfi Sigurdsson.

Cork had two loan spells with Burnley during his Chelsea career, scoring three goals in 40 Championship appearances for the club in the 2010/11 season.

The 28-year-old later joined Southampton on a permanent deal before moving on to Swansea in January 2015.
