Sky Sports Power Rankings' Premier League best XI

As we enter the final international break of the Premier League season, we have created a Premier League best XI from this campaign - according to the Sky Sports Power Rankings season chart.

The rankings are updated every week and reflect players' form based on points awarded for 32 different matchday stats.

Using that season chart, we've assembled the top-ranked players for each position in 4-3-3 formation - the system of choice for champions-elect Manchester City and third-placed Liverpool.

GOALKEEPER

Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea is the top-ranked 'keeper to date with a league-high 15 clean sheets, having also made more saves than any other goalkeeper at a top-six club with 97.

The Spaniard has accumulated 46,410 points this season, ahead of Manchester City's Ederson (42,165) and Burnley's Nick Pope (39,520).

DEFENCE

The back four comprises of a 50/50 split between City and Chelsea players, with Kyle Walker and Nicolas Otamendi pairing Marcos Alonso and Cesar Azpilicueta.

Alonso has scored six goals from left wing-back this season, while team-mate Azpilicueta has assisted another six - both league-topping stats for defenders in the Premier League this season.

Walker has also recorded six assists this term, while Otamendi has made more successful passes than any other player in the league with 2,464 completed.

MIDFIELD

As with the defence, City and Chelsea dominate the midfield - with Kevin De Bruyne and Eden Hazard flanking holding midfielder Fernandinho.

De Bruyne currently ranks runner-up in the Power Rankings season chart, primarily from his league-topping 14 assists and additional 95 chances created.

Hazard gathered a momentum of form as the season progressed and has risen to No 6 in the season rankings, boosted by 11 goals and a league-high 128 successful dribbles.

Fernandinho is currently the top-ranked holding midfielder with 46,355 points, ahead of Watford's Abdoulaye Doucoure (45,969) and Leicester's Wilfred Ndidi (41,678).

ATTACK

Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah is the first name on the teamsheet as the current Power Rankings leader with 28 goals and nine assists.

On the opposing wing, City winger Raheem Sterling edges Leicester's Riyad Mahrez with 15 goals and seven assists this term.

Unsurprisingly, Tottenham striker Harry Kane claims the central striker role with 24 goals before his injury, edging the next top-ranked striker, Sergio Aguero, by 8,500 Power Ranking points.
