Swansea City have signed midfielder Owain Tudur-Jones to a contract extension.Swansea City have signed promising Welsh midfielder Owain Tudur-Jones to a contract extension.
The 21-year-old, who was a £5,000 signing from League of Wales club Bangor City in the summer, penned an initial deal until the end of the current season at The Liberty Stadium.
The Wales Under-21 international has now extended his deal until June 2008 after a productive recent run in Kenny Jackett's side.
''When I signed a 12-month contract over the summer, I never dreamt Swansea would want to sign me for another two years so soon,'' Tudur-Jones told the club's official website.
''I'm absolutely delighted and still can't quite believe it. But while it's nice to know my future is secured for a bit longer, I know I've still got a lot of work to do and a lot to learn.
''Hopefully, my football will continue to improve and I can repay the faith the gaffer and the club has put in me.''
The news comes after the South Wales club extended the contracts of Kevin McLeod and Andy Robinson earlier this week.
