Swansea City have been dealt an injury blow after defender Garry Monk damaged knee ligaments at Scunthorpe United.
The former Torquay United, Southampton and Barnsley player faces at least six weeks on the sidelines after being stretchered off during Tuesday's 2-2 draw at Glanford Park.
"Garry has badly damaged knee ligaments,'' Swans physio Richie Evans told the club's official website.
"He is due to have a MRI scan later today (Wednesday), but it looks as if he'll be out for a minimum of six weeks.''
Andy Robinson was another casualty of the trip to Scunthorpe after damaging ankle ligaments against The Iron and he faces up to a fortnight away from action with the League One side.
