Swansea's Adebayo Akinfenwa believes he will get a new deal despite his injury.
Swansea's Adebayo Akinfenwa believes he has done enough to earn a new deal despite being ruled out for the rest of the season with a broken leg.
The 24-year-old striker, who joined from Torquay in 2005, is out of contract this summer and now faces an uncertain future.
However, Swans chairman Huw Jenkins has apparently already decided to extend Akinfenwa's stay at the club.
"I don't know what's going to happen, but my agent has called me and told me that the chairman has said he would like me to stay at the club," he told the South Wales Evening Post.
"Swansea know what I can do and I hope they see me as part of their future."
